I'm around. I'm going through some challenges both at home and at work that have seriously limited my ability and desire to post, but I'm here. I read every day, I comment when I can. I hope to get back to posting a little more often, but that probably won't be for a while. You all carry on with your bad selves.

Hi hi! I had a random attack of the guilts for not updating my LJ with much these days. I'm reading, though, I promise.

There isn't much to say. I vow to make this the year that I watch So You Think You Can Dance all the way through and not stop after the audition rounds. Uhhh... my dogs are cute. School is almost over for another year. Next year doesn't bear thinking about due to the current financial situation in California, but I have a job and am therefore thankful. My dogs are still cute. Star Trek was good. My mom is retiring. I'm thinking about getting a netbook instead of a new notebook. My novel in progress is like pulling teeth. How 'bout that Scripps spelling bee, huh? Crazy.

Oh, and! While not on sale, I continue to be delighted with Keeping Karma's purple cover. Ferret included. I met alessia_brio, the cover artist, at Romantic Times in Orlando and I stood there and babbled something lame at her about the purple awesomeness. She was nice to me, although I could see in her eyes she was thinking, "I have never before and will never again design a book cover that has a ferret on it." This is probably true, so hooray for me.
